What’s new in GeoALS apps 2.0 release

ALS Clinic Advisor

Locator

  • Locator’s host site and URL have changed to GeoALS ArcGIS Online Org. New Locator URL

  • Locator now includes more detailed information for clinics, including a link to clinic reviews, a list of certifications and memberships, and photo and profile of the clinic’s medical director(s).

  • New filters have been added to identify a clinic’s certification, memberships, and VA ALS clinics.

  • New and updated clinic information has been added that was provided by ALS Association, Veterans Administration, and HEALEY Platform sites.

  • Locator has been rebranded under GeoALS.

  • Video introducing Locator 2.0

Dashboard

  • Dashboard’s host site and URL have changed to GeoALS ArcGIS Online Org. New Dashboard URL

  • Dashboard has undergone some user interface changes to improve usability, such as a more prominent category list and the addition of a neurologist section.

  • The data source for the clinics has been updated to reflect new clinics and clinics that have address changes. Neurologist profile and photographs have been added to the data.

  • Dashboard has been rebranded under GeoALS.

  • Known issue: MacBooks with Chrome and Safari don’t show the neurologist photo.

Survey

  • Survey’s host site and URL have changed to GeoALS ArcGIS Online Org. New Survey URL

  • Streamlined aspects of how respondents submit answers in the survey to improve usability and decrease the time it takes to complete the survey.

  • Added the ability to select a neurologist from a pick list.

  • Survey has been rebranded under GeoALS.
